Who We Are

We are a family-run and family oriented martial arts school founded on the tenets of Taekwondo:  Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit.  Our family of four has been studying Taekwondo together for the last 10 years often practicing for six days per week.  We believe that martial arts should be enjoyable, affordable and above all else Fun!  

   Our students and instructors are certified by the Kukkiwon, Seoul Korea, and the World Taekwondo Federation--the internationally recognized sanctioning body authorized for Olympic competition.

3rd Dan Brian Harrington--Senior Instructor

Sabumnim Brian Harrington began studying Danzan Ryu Jiu-Jitsu in 1985 to supplement high school wrestling. In 1986 he joined the US Army where he served for over 20 years as a Green Beret.  He has taught self defense and tactics to hundreds of soldiers overseas from countries including the Philippines, Thailand, Bangladesh, Somalia, Kenya, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. 

His military education includes: the Special Forces Qualification Course, US Army Ranger School, the Special Operations Diver Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School and U.S. Jumpmaster School.

He has studied Taekwondo for the past 10 years, initially under Master Yeun-nam Keung in North Carolina.  While in Yongsan Korea, he studied Taekwondo under Grand Master Kim. However, he owes his knowledge of Taekwondo to Master Eric Suan and Master Maria Suan under whom he and his family studied on the island of Okinawa since 2002.
